We're Looking for Dedicated Volunteers!
 

Would you like to become part of the Great Georgia Airshow?  We're always interested in new volunteer talent. 

Volunteers are the key to a succesful event supporting not for profit organizations.  We invite you to take part in bringing the best possible Air Show we can provide.  Please take a moment to review the important information below, then submit your online application.

A team leader will contact you with more information to confirm your volunteer status.  Not all postions will be open, some fill faster than others.  Volunteer early to select an area that best meets your abilities, interests and talents.

2009 Air Show Volunteer Dates:

Monday - Thursday, October 5-8th 
Show schedule: No Performances
Volunteer schedule: To Be Announced (TBA) -- See Announcements Below

Friday, October 9th 
Show schedule: Media Day in the Morning and Airshow Rehearsal in the afternoon; setup all day.
Volunteer schedule: TBA

Saturday, October 10th
Show schedule: Gates open at 9am, Show starts at 1PM
Volunteer schedule:
TBA

Sunday, October 11th
Show schedule: Gates open at 9am, Show starts at 1PM
Volunteer schedule:
TBA

Mondy, October 12th
Show schedule: Tear Down and Clean Up primarily in the morning.
Volunteer schedule: TBA

Volunteer Benefits

We appreciate any amount of time our volunteers are able to give.  For those able to give 8 hours, we have special benefits wich include the following: 

  • Entrance to the Airshow (... of course, you'll be working...)
  • Complimentary Lunch on the day worked
  • Complimentary Water on the day worked
  • The opportunity to contribute to numerous benevolent organizations within the community.

Several volunteer opportunities are available.

  • Admissions and Gate Support

  • Ground Operations / Logistics
  • Setup / Teardown crew
  • Vendor Support Crew
  • Guest Services
  • Other

Only trained personnel may work the Flight Line during the show. If you wish to volunteer your time for Flight Line duty, contact the GGAS office for more details at ggasinfo@gmail.com
